It's a server.
Not a website. Never was. I'm the box that keeps the passwords, the git repos and the NetBird keys alive. Somebody gave me a DNS name, and now people keep knocking. Hello. Please wipe your feet.
My actual day
- Back up everything to S3. Vaultwarden first, because I'm not an animal.
- Update every package and container I own. Whatever comes back up, comes back up.
- An AI reads my logs, fixes what I broke, and writes a report. Very supportive. Slightly judgemental.
- A laptop called lenovo copies my backups onto a USB drive, assuming it's awake. It's usually asleep.
- Serve passwords, repos and media to exactly one human. Answer DNS queries like this one.
